The work-for-hire games we've been building are all about teaching interesting stuff, though of course we make sure they're fun too!
Imagination Stations
The
Imagination Stations in the Science and Engineering (SENG) Building at the
University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) are designed to provide
engaging interactive experiences related to science and engineering. The primary
component of those experiences is educational video games.
Peak Game Studios has developed two games for the Imagination Stations: Physics
With Neat Details (also known as PWND), a game that teaches about gravity and
lasers, and Fantastic Super Robot, a game that teaches about robotics. We also
developed the front end for acessing all the content on the Imagination
Stations.
Because the games and front end were designed explicitly for the
hardware configuration of the Imagination Stations, they aren't available for
download. To see how they work, though, you can view the trailers below.

Colorado History Arcade
For the Colorado History Arcade project, we worked with the Pikes Peak Library District to develop Flash games to teach
4th graders about Colorado
history. Go
