Khet

We're continuing our second Beta test (to participate, click here ) and at the same time we're doing some final tuning, polishing, and (yes, sad but true) a little debugging. After a "See if you can break the game" party in March, we'll finish the game up and release it for sale. Our current estimate for release is some time in mid to late March.

Khet is based on an actual board game created by Innovention Toys. The game combines lasers with strategy to yield a deep and exciting play experience. The Khet video game extends that experience even more with many more features and effects that are impractical in the real world (explosions, for example!).



In Khet, you can:

• Play any board configuration against a computer player (Easy, Medium, or Hard)
• Play several full adventures against the computer and win a new piece texture by completing each adventure
• Interact with other Khet players online, including playing games, sending and receiving chat and private messages, and using friend and ignore lists
• Play Speed Khet, where each player has a set time limit to make a move, against the computer and online
• Build your own custom board configurations to use against the computer and online
